1. This warranty is an e-warranty, and activation is mandatory. The authorized dealer from whom the battery is purchased will activate the warranty at the time of purchase. The customer will receive a confirmation SMS immediately upon activation.
2. Providing the customers name, address, contact number (mobile), and vehicle number (for automotive application) is mandatory.
3. The company will not accept any complaint regarding batteries that have not been activated under the e-warranty. Any battery without a completed activation will be ineligible for warranty claims.
4. Periodic battery service must be performed through an authorized dealer to ensure proper maintenance, and records of these services should be updated in the e-warranty system. Without these records, any warranty claim may be deemed invalid.
5. Our batteries are warrantied against all defects arising solely from the use of faulty material or poor workmanship. Consequential liabilities will not be entertained.
6. In the event of any complaint, the Battery must be returned un-tampered & complete to the company's authorized dealer.
7. The right to determine whether a Battery needs repair, rectification, or free replacement rests with the company.
8. The defective battery arising out of the free replacement under this warranty, will become a property of the company & no scrap rebate will be given for it.
9. The warranty period of the battery commence from the date of sale of original battery as recorded in the e-warranty system & not from the date of replacement given. For batteries purchased on pro-rata warranty settlement discount, a fresh warranty will be given from date of purchase.
10. The warranty commences from the date of sale to the purchaser.
11. All liabilities under this warranty shall cease if the battery is.
a. Transferred to a third party or any other vehicle.
b. Used in any application other than that specified in the company's application chart.
c. Found to have additives, dopes or anything else other than distilled water added to the electrolyte.
d. Damages due to fitment of additional accessories in vehicle other than the original fitment.
e. Out of warranty period.
f. For the non EFB batteries being used for vehicles with Idle Start Stop option.
12. Warranty does not cover -
a. Damages to the battery caused by accidents, fire, faulty electrical systems, improper handling, service of battery by unauthorized dealer/auto electricians, willful abuse, destruction by fire, collision, theft, or recharge.
b. Breakage of container & cover or breakage/deformation of terminal due to Mechanical shock.
c. Damage to the battery due to contamination of electrolyte.
d. Failure of battery due to deep discharge, overcharge or improper Topping up.
e. Batteries that have been used for non-automotive purposes.
13. In the event of any particular battery model being phased out, the company reserves the right to provide another model of the same capacity & suited to the vehicle, as settlement of warranty.
14. In case a service battery is issued, it must be returned within 15 days, failing which a nominal charge per day will be levied.
15. The charging system & electrical circuit of the vehicle shall be checked by the company authorized personnel or dealer before finalizing settlement of any warranty claim.
16. Customers are deemed to have read, understood & agreed to these conditions at the time of purchased.
01.මෙය ඉලෙක්ට්රොනික වගකීමකි. වගකීම සක්රිය කරගැනීම අනිවාර්යවේ. බලයලත් වෙළඳ නියෝජිතයා විසින්, පාරිභෝගිකයා බැටරිය මිලදීගත් අවස්ථාවේදීම වගකීම සක්රීය කළ යුතුය. වගකීම සක්රියකල වහාම පාරිභෝගිකයා වෙත කෙටි පණිවිඩයක් මගින් වගකීම සක්රිය වූ බව තහවුරු කරනු ඇත.
02.වගකීම සක්රීය කිරීමේදී පාරිභෝගිකයාගේ නම, ලිපිනය, දුරකථන අංකය (ජංගම) සහ වාහනේ ලියාපදිංචි අංකය (රථ වාහන බැටරි සඳහා) සඳහන් කිරීම අනිවාර්යය වේ.
03.ඉලෙක්ට්රොනික වගකීම සක්රියකර නොමැති බැටරි, පැමිණිලි බැටරි වශයෙන් සමාගම විසින් භාර ගනු නොලැබේ. අසම්පූර්ණ වගකීම් සක්රීය කිරීම් සහිත හෝ සක්රීයකර නොමැති බැටරි වගකීම් හිමිකම් සඳහා සලකා බලනු නොලැබේ.
04.බැටරියේ නිවැරදි නඩත්තුව සඳහා වරින් වර බලයලත් වෙළඳ නියෝජිතයකු මගින් බැටරිය සේවා කරගත යුතුය. වෙළඳ නියෝජිතවරයා විසින් අදාළ සටහන් ඉලෙක්ට්රොනික වගකීම් පද්ධතියට ඇතුළත් කළ යුතුය. එසේ නොවීම, ඔබගේ බැටරියේ වගකීම පිළිබඳව තීරණය කිරීමේදී අවාසි විය හැක
05. බැටරි නිපදවීමට යොදාගත් ද්රව්ය හෝ නිපදවීමේ ක්රියාවලියේ දී සිදු වී ඇති දෝෂ නිසා ඇති වන දෝෂ පමණක් මෙම වගකීමට යටත් වන අතර, පාවිච්චි කිරීමේ දී ඇති වූ දෝෂ සඳහා මෙම වගකීම අදාළ නොවේ.
06. හානිපූර්ණය සඳහා ඉදිරිපත් කරනු ලබන බැටරි අපගේ බලයලත් වෙළඳ නියෝජිතයන් මගින් සමාගම වෙත ඉදිරිපත් කළ යුතුය.
07. හානිපූර්ණය සඳහා ඉදිරිපත් කරනු ලබන බැටරිවල දෝෂ නිවැරදි කිරීම හෝ නව බැටරියක් ලබාදීම පිළිබඳව අවසාන තීරණය සමාගම සතුවේ.
08. දෝෂ සහිත බැටරියකට නව බැටරියක් ලබාදීමේ දී දෝෂ සහිත බැටරිය අප සතු භාණ්ඩයක් බවට පත් වන අතර, එම බැටරිය සඳහා අමතර ගෙවීමක් සිදු නොවේ.
09. නොමිලයේ ලබාදෙන බැටරි සඳහා වගකීමේ කාලය ආරම්භ වනු ලබන්නේ, ඊ- වගකීම් පද්ධතියේ සඳහන් පරිදි මුල් බැටරිය මිල දී ගත් දින සිට වන අතර, දෝෂ සහිත බැටරියක් සඳහා නිකුත් කරනු ලබන නව බැටරිය නිකුත් කරනු ලබන දිනය නොවන බවද සලකන්න. Pro-rata වට්ටම යටතේ මිල දී ගන්නා බැටරිය සඳහා එම මිල දී ගන්නා දිනයේ සිට සම්පූර්ණ වගකීම් කාලය ලැබෙනු ඇත.
10. ගැණුම්කරු බැටරිය මිල දී ගත් දින සිට බැටරියේ වගකීම් කාලය ආරම්භ වේ.
11. පහත සඳහන් අවස්ථාවල දී වගකීම වලංගු නොවේ.
අ) බැටරිය තුන්වන පාර්ශ්වයකට හෝ වෙනත් වාහනයකට මාරු කළ විට
ආ) සමාගම මගින් නිර්දේශිත සවිකිරීම් නොවන අවස්ථාවලදී
ඇ) සේවා කිරීමේ දී ආස්රැත ජලය වෙනුවට වෙනත් ද්රව්ය අඩංගු ජලය හෝ වෙනත් ද්රාවන බැටරියට එකතුකර ඇති අවස්ථාවලදී
ඈ) වගකීමේ කාලසීමාව ඉක්මවා ඇති අවස්ථාවලදී
12. වගකීම මගින් පහත සඳහන් අවස්ථා ආවරණය නොකෙරේ
අ) අනතුරු, ගිනි, දෝෂ සහිත විදුලි පද්ධති, අවිධිමත් පරිහරණය, බලයලත් අලෙවි නියෝජිතයන් නොවන අයගෙන් සේවා කිරීම, බාහිර හානි, සොරකම් කිරීම, සාන්ද්රනය වැඩි අම්ල එකතු කිරීම යන කරුණුවලින් හානිවන බැටරි
ආ) බැටරියේ ආවරණය හෝ බැටරි කනු පළුදු වී හෝ හානි වී ඇතිවිට
ඇ) බැටරියේ විද්යුත් විච්ඡේදනයට වෙනත් ද්රාවනයක් එකතු වී ඇති විට
ඈ) වාහන නොවන අනෙකුත් දේ සඳහා බැටරි පාවිච්චි කරන අවස්ථාවල දී
ඉ) නැවත ආරෝපණය
ඊ) අයිඩ්ල් ස්ටාට් ස්ටොප් තාක්ෂනය සහිත වාහන වලට සවිකළ EFB නොවන බැටරි සඳහා
13. හානි පූර්ණය කිරීමේ දී කිසියම් බැටරි මාදිලියක තොග නැති අවස්ථාවල දී ඒ සඳහා ගැළපෙන වෙනත් මාදිලියක බැටරියක් සැපයීම සමාගමේ අභිමතය මත සිදුවිය හැක.
14. සේවා බැටරියක් සපයා ඇති අවස්ථාවල දී දින 15ක් ඇතුළත එම බැටරිය නැවත භාරදිය යුතු අතර, එසේ නොවුනහොත් අමතර සෑම දිනක් සඳහාම ගාස්තුවක් අයකරනු ලැබේ.
15.වාහනයේ විදුලි පද්ධතිය හා ආරෝපණය වීම පිළිබඳව සමාගමේ කාර්මික මහතෙකු හෝ බලයලත් වෙළඳ නියෝජිත මහතෙකු විසින් පරීක්ෂා කිරීමෙන් අනතුරුව පමණක් නව බැටරියක් නිකුත් කිරීම පිළිබඳව තීරණය කරනු ඇත.
16. බැටරිය මිලදී ගත් අවස්ථාවේදීම ගනුදෙනුකරු විසින් ඉහත සඳහන් සියලු කොන්දේසි නිවැරදිව කියවා බලා තේරුම් ගෙන එකඟ විය යුතුය.
1. உத்தரவாதக் கையேட்டின் கிழித்தெடுக்கும் பகுதியை முழுமையாக நிரப்பி, நீங்கள் பேட்டரியை வாங்குகின்ற விற்பனையாளரிடம் ஒப்படைக்க வேண்டும். உத்திரவாதத்தைப் பதிவு செய்வதற்காக விற்பனையாளர் அருகிலுள்ள நிறுவனக் கிளைக்கு இதனை அனுப்ப ஏற்பாடு செய்வார்.
2. பார்கோட் உடன் முழுமையாக நிரப்பப்பட்ட உத்தரவாதக்கையேடு & பணக்குறிப்பு நகலுடன் உத்திரவாதக் காலத்திற்குள் அனைத்து உரிமைகோரல்களும் இருக்க வேண்டும். உத்தரவாத கையேட்டில் அல்லது பேட்டரியில் குறிப்பிடப்பட்டுள்ள பேட்டரி வரிசை எண், உற்பத்திக் குறியீடு ஆகியவை சேதப்படுத்தப்பட்டிருந்தால் உத்தரவாதக் கோரிக்கை செல்லுபடியாகாது.
3. உத்தரவாதக் கையேட்டின் சேவைப் பதிவேடு, குறிப்பிட்ட முறையில் பராமரிப்பு செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளது என்பதனை நிரூபிப்பதற்கான சான்றாக, நிறுவனத்தின் அங்கீகரிக்கப்பட்ட விற்பனையாளரால் தவறாமல் உத்தரவாத கையேட்டில் பதிவு செய்யப்பட வேண்டும். இந்தப் பதிவு இல்லாமல் உங்கள் கோரிக்கை ஏதேனும் இருந்தால் அது செல்லுபடியாகாது.
4. தவறான மூலப்பொருள் உபயோகத்தினால் அல்லது வேலைத்திறன் குறையினால் மட்டும் எழும் அனைத்து குறைபாடுகளுக்கும் எதிராக எங்களுடைய பேட்டரிகளுக்கு உத்தரவாதம் அளிக்கப்படுகின்றது. எதிர் விளைவான ஏற்படுகின்ற குறைபாடுகள் ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளப்படமாட்டாது.
5. ஏதேனும் புகார் ஏற்பட்டால், பேட்டரியை சேதப்படுத்தாமலும் & முழுமையாகவும் நிறுவனத்தின் அங்கீகரிக்கப்பட்ட விற்பனையாளரிடம் ஒப்படைக்க வேண்டும்.
6. பேட்டரி பழுதுபார்க்கப்பட வேண்டுமா, பிழை நீக்கம் செய்யப்பட வேண்டுமா அல்லது இலவச மாற்றீடு செய்யப்பட வேண்டுமா என்பதை தீர்மானிக்கும் உரிமை நிறுவனத்திடம் உள்ளது.
7. இந்த உத்தரவாதத்தின் கீழ் ஒரு பேட்டரி இலவசமாக மாற்றீடு செய்யப்பட்டால், குறைபாடுள்ள பேட்டரி, நிறுவனத்தின் சொத்தாக மாறும். அதற்காக தள்ளுபடி எதுவும் வழங்கப்படமாட்டாது.
8. மூல உத்தரவாதக் கையேட்டில் குறிப்பிடப்பட்டுள்ள மூல பேட்டரி கொள்வனவு செய்யப்பட்ட திகதியிலிருந்தே பேட்டரியின் உத்தரவாதக் காலம் ஆரம்பமாகும். மாற்றீடு பேட்டரி கொடுக்கப்பட்ட திகதியிலிருந்து அது ஆரம்பமாகாது. விகிதாசார உத்தரவாதத்தீர்ப்பனவு தள்ளுபடியின் அடிப்படையில் கொள்வனவு செய்யப்படும் பேட்டரிகளை பொறுத்தவரையில், கொள்வனவு திகதியிலிருந்து ஒரு புதிய உத்தரவாதம் வழங்கப்படும்.
9. வாங்குபவருக்கு விற்பனை செய்யப்பட்ட திகதியிலிருந்து உத்தரவாதம் தொடங்குகிறது.
10. பின்வரும் சந்தர்ப்பங்களில் இந்த உத்தரவாதத்தின் கீழ் உள்ள அனைத்து பொறுப்புகளும் நிறுத்தப்படும்:
a. பேட்டரி ஒரு மூன்றாம் நபருக்கு அல்லது வேறு எந்த வாகனத்திற்கும் மாற்றப்படுதல்.
b. நிறுவனத்தின் பயன்பாட்டு விளக்கப்படத்தில் குறிப்பிடப்பட்டுள்ளதைத் தவிர வேறு எந்த பயன்பாட்டிலும் பயன்படுத்தப்படுகிறது.
c. எலக்ட்ரோலைட் திரவத்தில் வேறு ஏதேனும் கலக்கப்பட்டு அசுத்தமடைவதால் பேட்டரிக்கு ஏற்படும் சேதம்.
d. அசல் பொருத்தம் அல்லாத கூடுதல் பாகங்கள் வாகனத்தில் பொருத்தப்பட்டதால் ஏற்படும் சேதங்கள்.
e. உத்தரவாதக் காலம் முடிந்துவிட்டது.
f. மீள்நிரப்பு
g. ஐடில் ஸ்டார்ட் ஸ்டாப் ஆப்ஷன் கொண்ட வாகனங்களுக்குப் பயன்படுத்தப்படும் பேட்டரிகளுக்கு.
11. உத்தரவாதத்தை உள்ளடக்காது -
a. விபத்துக்கள், தீ, தவறான மின் அமைப்புகள், முறையற்ற கையாளுதல், அங்கீகரிக்கப்படாத டீலர்/ஆட்டோ எலக்ட்ரீஷியன்களால் பேட்டரி சேவை, வேண்டுமென்றே துஷ்பிரயோகம், தீ, மோதல், திருட்டு அல்லது ரீசார்ஜ் ஆகியவற்றால் பேட்டரிக்கு ஏற்படும் சேதங்கள்.
b. கொள்கலன் மற்றும் மூடி உடைக்கப்படுதல் அல்லது இயந்திரவியல் அதிர்வினால் டேர்மினளின் உடைப்பு உருக்குலைவு.
e. எலக்ட்ரோலைட்டின் மாசுபாட்டின் காரணமாக பேட்டரிக்கு சேதம்.
d. ஆழமான டிஸ்சார்ஜ், ஓவர்சார்ஜ் அல்லது முறைகேடான டாப்பிங் அப் காரணமாக செயல் இழந்த பேட்டரி.
e. வாகனம் அல்லாத வேறு நோக்கங்களுக்கு பயன்படுத்தப்பட்ட பேட்டரி.
12. குறிப்பிட்ட பேட்டரி மாடல் எங்களுடைய கையிருப்பில் இல்லை என்றால் உத்தரவாதத்தின் தீர்ப்பனவு என்ற முறையில் அதே கொள்திறன் கொண்ட மற்றும் சம்பந்தப்பட்ட வாகனத்திற்கு பொருத்தமான மற்றொரு மாடல் பேட்டரியை வழங்கும் உரிமை நிறுவனத்திடம் உள்ளது.
13. சேவை பேட்டரி வழங்கப்பட்டால், அதை 15 நாட்களுக்குள் திருப்பிக் கொடுக்கப்பட வேண்டும், தவறினால் நாளொன்றுக்கு சிறிய தொகை அறவிடப்படும்.
14. ஏதேனும் உத்தரவாதக் கோரிக்கையை நிறைவேற்றுவதற்கு முன்னர் வாகனத்தின் சார்ஜிங் அமைப்பு, மின்சுற்று என்பன நிறுவனத்தின் அங்கீகரிக்கப்பட்ட தொழில்நுட்ப வல்லுநர்களால் அல்லது விற்பனையாளரால் பரிசோதனை செய்யப்படும்.
15. வாடிக்கையாளர்கள் பேட்டரி கொள்வனவு செய்யும் போது வாடிக்கையாளர்கள் இந்த விதிகள் மற்றும் நிபந்தனைகளை படித்து, புரிந்து கொண்டு அவற்றிற்கு உடன்பட வேண்டும்.
Brown & Company PLC guarantees this product against defects in material and workmanship subject to the conditions mentioned below;
1. Warranty will be applied according to the reference field on the card. Note that all products are subjected to the following conditions.
2. To avail the benefits of this warranty, products should be handed over to the service centre within the warranty period along with a written notice.
3. If the product has any dent, damage or missing accessories, the service centre needs to be informed within 7 days after the customer has received the item. If the product has been checked and tested at the point of purchase, the above 7 days will not be valid.
4. Any international warranty card or catalogue and package warranty period will not applicable to the Sri Lankan market. The product will only be valid according to the warranty card period authorized by Brown & Company PLC’s official rubber stamp.
5. It is possible for PDP, LCD or OLED panels to develop dark or bright pixels during usage. In order to qualify for a repair under warranty, such TVs must have a number of pixels or sub pixel defects exceeding the minimum requirement (7 spot defects) for a panel model.
6. The warranty does not cover the following accessories supplied with products such as; remote controls, detachable speakers, burners, cutters, knife blades, detachable jugs, lids, blades or similar fittings. It additionally does not cover any cosmetic damage or abnormalities, scratches, dents, chips and normal wear depending on the functionality of the products.
7. Warranty is not applicable if the product has been subject to an accident or physical damage during transportation or whilst in the custody of the customer. Additionally, the warranty shall not cover any consequential or other damages.
8. Warranty becomes null and void if the product has been; subjected to or attempted repair, modification or software upgrades by unauthorized persons, if the product serial number has been altered, obliterated or removed, exposed to any natural disaster, has been operated contrary to instructions given or implied or operated negligently.
9. Be cautious while using the product as warranty becomes null and void if the product has been used for a purpose other than what it was built for. Consumer products are designed manufactured for domestic usage only and any damages caused by commercial or industrial application will not be covered.
10. If the warranty card is lost and in order to proceed with warranty service, the customer needs to produce proof of purchase (invoice or online order receipt), along with a letter. Any data alteration on the card will render warranty null and void.
11. Warranty will be considered void if the product is affected by the following; sea spray, damage done by household pets, rats and insects, electricity fluctuations or lightning surges and incorrect installation by customer..
12. It is advisable to charge rechargeable products once in every week. Please note that warranty for rechargeable products will cover manufacturing defects except for the batteries used in the products. Batteries will only be eligible for warranty 03 months from the date of purchase.
13. If the product cannot be repaired due lack of spare parts or any other factor in the country, the customer may purchase a product similar to the warranty claim product’s purchase price. A refund of the purchase value will be provided once the service department confirms that the product cannot be repaired. Refunds will be processed only for purchases made directly through Browns’ showroom or www.brownsdeals.com.

The company may offer above specified warranty for the products against any manufacturing defect recommended by head of operations upon going through a complete technical investigation.
In the event of customer damage or any action that deprives the company of the use of a product or any part thereof, the customer shall forfeit the warranty.
The company, distributor, dealer shall not be liable to replace the product at the same time of initial complaint except on surrender of this approved warranty card. In such occurrences the company shall not be liable to refund the product to dealer.
