General Tips
- Check the coolant level in the engine before starting.
- Make sure the condition of the pressure releasing cap is good and free of corrosion.
- Use the approved coolant for your radiator.
- Recommend to use RADCO brand coolant for your RADCO radiator.
- Change the coolant after every 20,000 km of vehicle usage.
- Don't use the same coolant for a long period, as it will cause it to become acidic due to some internal chemical reactions, resulting in radiator damage.
- Use one brand of coolant for your radiator. Don’t change the coolant brand frequently.
- Check and clean the radiator regularly in order to prevent blockages inside the louvers.
- Ensure the radiator inlet and outlet hoses have no leakage.
- Check the thermostat valve of the radiator at periodic intervals.
Safety precautions
- Switch off the the engine if any unusual overheating occurs.
- Don’t remove the pressure cap while the engine is running and heated.
- Follow safety methodologies to remove the pressure cap.
