Essential Maintenance & Tips

Your quick guide to keeping your EV in top condition

Vehicle Maintenance and Tips

  • Ensure that your vehicle’s software is regularly updated to the latest version.
  • Carry out all servicing, maintenance and repairs at WULING Authorized Service Providers throughout the life of your vehicle, following the maintenance schedule provided in this manual.
  • Keep all the documents related to maintenance and repairs, as these records are important for both you and the service provider. A separate maintenance sheet is included in this manual to help you log all maintenance activities performed on your vehicle.
  • Keep the Warranty & Maintenance Guide inside your vehicle.

This Warranty and Maintenance Guide is intended to be a permanent part of your vehicle and should be kept inside the vehicle for easy reference at any time. If you sell the vehicle, the Maintenance Guide should be passed on to the new owner to provide essential information on operation, safety, and maintenance.

Vehicle Charging Tips

  • If the vehicle will not be used for an extended period (longer than 7 days), it is advisable to maintain the battery’s State of Charge (SOC) between 40% and 60% to help extend the overall lifespan of the power battery. For vehicles left unused for more than 3 months, the battery should be fully charged and then discharged to a level between 40% and 60% every three months. Failing to do so may lead to over-discharge, which can reduce battery performance or potentially damage the battery.
  • Before starting the charging process, make sure there is no water, debris, or foreign material in the vehicle’s charging port or on the charging plug. When the charging system is not in use, regularly check and clean both the charging port and the plug to ensure they remain in good condition.
  • Make sure that charging is performed using the specified voltage to ensure safety and proper operation.
  • Do not modify, take apart, or attempt to repair the charging equipment.
  • Do not use the charging equipment if the charging plug or cable is worn or damaged, or if the insulation layer is cracked.
  • Avoid charging the vehicle if the charging port or charging plug is broken, cracked, or showing any signs of damage.
  • Avoid handling the charging plug with wet hands or while the power is turned on.
  • Do not touch the pins of the charging plug or the holes in the vehicle’s charging port.
  • If charging fails or any abnormality occurs, discontinue use of the charging equipment immediately.
  • Keep children away from the charging equipment while it is in use or powered.
  • The charging equipment should only be used in environments where the ambient temperature does not exceed 40°C.
  • Do not drop the charging equipment from a height. Avoid moving it by pulling the cable directly. Handle the equipment carefully and store it in a cool, shaded area.
  • Avoid charging or touching the vehicle during lightning storms or thunderstorms, as lightning strikes can damage the charging equipment and pose a risk of personal injury.
